This song was inspired by my home town of Wilkinson, Indiana. Where I recall being upset as a kid because the train track was removed. The story is a fictional romance of a guy who loved a woman so that her leaving made him crazy. She told him she would be back and he believed her. So .. he spent his life at the ole broken down Depot waiting on her to come in on the train.
But, there ain't no train and there ain't no tracks. So .. It seems impossible.. However, one night when the town was asleep.. the ole man passed away at that ole broken down Depot waiting for the love of his life to return... and you could hear the roar.. and feel the shaking ground... HOW Can that be?? But, there ain't no train comes through this town.. The movie is next... :)
